X-Mas Haul Part 1of 3

Yes!PS One games 🙂 Remember when games came in durable, screenshot heavy  cases? That NBA live game was .99 cents!I got the hot cocoa  Avengers mug from my sister and the games from a local video game store that specializes in older games and systems. Snagged up Red Skull from Wal-Mart.

    • Yes! Warhawk was another one. When you bought a game back then, you bought the whole package. Lush and extensive manuals with character backgrounds, and awesome screenshots on the back of the case that fueled your wants to play the game.Nowadays everything is learn on the fly and downloadable, and that’s just wack!

  1. Ah, the good ol’ PS1. I wish the graphics didn’t give me a headache these days. I put in so many hours on that system, playing Resident Evil, Thunderhawk, and Soviet Strike.

I miss the days of instruction manuals that did more than just tell you what the buttons do.

Exactly! It gave you a chance to brake away from the game, regroup and come back with new plan of attack.
And yes,I’ve been 32 bit-ting it for the last couple of days and my brain is pretty much mush right now.And the loading times..ugh!But it’s all in the name of nostalgia 😉
