This is the gold shorts version of Sauron.I’m no expert on the character but do remember him being in alot of my old X-Men comics.Some of my favorite X-Men reads as a kid were ones that featured the Savage Land.Not much to say about this guy other than the fact that I picked him up loose and club-less for about 2 bucks.Haven’t been feeling too great lately so writing will be at a minimum for the next couple of posts.

He’s one of the few early Toy Biz X-Men figures that I didn’t have as a kid. Always thought he was cool. I like how his shoulders and wings are not one piece.
Yeah the shoulder joints on this figure are pretty cool.I also like the detailed reptilian bumps on the bottom of his legs there.Pretty cool stuff!
I loved this figure when I had him. All of my Toybiz got sold when my father passed. I thought I would not be collecting ever again. Boy was I wrong!
Now is a good time to get back into ToyBiz HG!They are all over the internet and the on card prices on some of them are pretty cheap.

Now that you mention it,you’r right.I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ToyBiz/Hasbro Marvel Legends figure of Sauron!Another reason why these 3 3/4 ToyBiz figures are so much fun to collect,there are so many figures to choose from and you don’t have to pay upwards of 15 dollars to buy them loose like most Marvel Universe figures.

This has got to be one of the best looking Toy Biz figures that I have ever seen! I haven’t been in the comic loop for almost a decade, but I don’t think I’ve seen him in comics since the early nineties. Definitely a cool character, and a nice addition to your collection.

This is a good one- knew nothing of this character as a child, but have read of him recently in some of the 90’s X-Books. Deb over at Vintage Action Figures posted on him in the last few months, and I was impressed with what a fun action figure he is
He would always make an appearance or two in some of the X-Men comics I used to own as a kid but was never the focal point.I think I may be reliving my 90’s comic book collecting days vicariously through these ToyBiz figures :)!
