While far from complete, my Star Wars collection is slowly amassing. I can’t believe I found this set on Amazon for $6.25.Yeah I had to pay an extra 5 to get it shipped but still. Most Boba Fett figures alone cost upwards of $12 -15 bucks online these days. I’m still skeptical about the low price. With so many collectors looking for immaculate MOC items, I’m wondering if the mark down had something to do with the crossed out “Only At Target” sticker? Aaah, who cares. I’m opening anyways. More Grain PlayStation goodness!I’ve been wanting to play Iron Man/XO Manowar for a while now.Plus the “little kid” inside me was begging for a shoot ’em up, side-scrolling plat-former for Christmas and i wasn’t about to disappoint. How cool is that Spider-Man figurine and tiny Ninja?! My girls got me those 🙂 All in all a great Christmas.. stressful at times .. but well worth it. Oh, and did I forget to mention stressful? I kid. Anyways. Aim for those goals that are most likely attainable in 2014 and have a happy new year!

Jboypacman Trade Acquisition
I got this little fellow from jboypacman in a trade we completed a little while back. love the color scheme on Med-Alert but most of all,I love the fact that he’s packing heat! Most Joes in the medical field are pacifists but such is not the case with Med-Alert.My man is ready to let off at the drop of a dime, but don’t worry.Med-Alert’ll put one in you,and then patch it up afterwards. No hard feelings.
Love the boot detail!
YO JOE!
G.I. Joe Retaliation- Ninja Duel Snake Eyes (Revisited)
This was the version of Snake Eyes I had waited for since the first mentioning and trailers of the Retaliation film. I loved the look they chose to go with here and the figure is pretty much spot on. I will say ,however, that this figure was a bit overrated. Even I made more of it than I probably should have when I first posted about it a while back. Alot of people who’ve reviewed this Ninja Duel Snake Eyes fail to point out the odd looking long hands and under detailed leg sculpts. I like a booted Snake Eyes and this version seems to be sporting some low top cross trainers. Overall a great figure and fresh take on such an iconic character, but far from a perfect rendition.
G.I. Joe POC – Low-Light (Revisited)
I’m not sure if this qualifies as a “Revisited” post ,because I don’t think I’ve ever spotlighted this figure before. Low-Light has appeared in various collection pics here on AF&T ,but never got his own post with corresponding pics. That is until last night, when I was bored out of my mind and decided to spend some QT with this awesome Pursuit of Cobra G.I. Joe action figure.I guess I never got around to Low-Light because of the over exposure this figure received over the net and in toy blogs everywhere, so me doing a post on him back then would have felt a little redundant. This will subsequently be a pic heavy post so I can finally “high-light” … Low-Light?
YAY!Star Wars Figures!
Storm Shadow Waist-Piece Switchout!
A while back , good buddy Buzz over at Action Figure Adventures sent me a replacement waist for my vintage Storm Shadow figure. I was going to replace it back then but the screw head in his back stripped and I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to switch out the parts without being able to remove that screw and separate the torso. The other day my cojones grew and I decided to take a different approach. I took the legs apart, and by doing so I was able to remove the older waist piece and put the better looking one on! While both show signs of wear, you can clearly see the older one was more yellowed. Another huge thank you goes out to Kevin(Buzz) for the Stormy waist piece 🙂
