Finally! I’ve needed a Daredevil in the collection for quite some time and this one did not disappoint. Daredevil is to the Marvel Universe what Low Light is to the Joe Universe as far as popularity, IMO. Such a simple, yet powerful costume design, with the iconic double D’s on the chest area(was there a better place to put it?) and the trademark horns on the head sculpt. I loved these particular waves of MU figures, with the little TOP SECRET files and character ID cards. I love any kind of written description or BIO cards included with my action figures. It is a lost gimmick as far as I’m concerned. Even the new Joe figures roll file card-less these days. I can’t front, though, I would have preferred the lighter shade of red but this figure blends both colors nicely and has great shadowing. Who doesn’t love Daredevil? Unless your name is “who” then you love DD just as much as I do 😉
This is how I want a 6-inch Daredevil to look like sculpt-wise. But it would have been better if the type of “red” applied on his gloves and boots is the same for his entire body.
I like the different shade of red Combo. The gloves boots and belt match the DD logo.I would have preferred the lighter red all over though lol.
DDs got to wear something when his suits in the wash, may as well be the one he ruined when he mixed his darks in the last time. I like the look of the figure, most DD toys I’ve seen over the years tend to be quite nice.
Lol!
Am a fan of his old yellow costume myself. : )
That one’s cool too John.
I only found the black suited version down here. I passed on it. I want the original red.
Yeah I passed on that one.At least I found one with hints of the original red color. The dark red doesn’t bug me at all though and looks pretty damn spiffy imo.
Ah, he’s cool- still have this one on card from, like, 2 or 3 yrs ago
Yeah I have some catching up to do as far as MU goes.I got a couple more figs to blog about in the next couple of days 😉
